The doctor may or may not use anesthesia. An alternate numbing agent may be used before the treatment such as rubbing ice on your face of a topical solution.

After Botox injections, you may go home and rest without lying down during the first 2 to 4 hours. You may experience some side effects such as flu-like symptoms, headache, drooping of the eyelids/eyebrow and bruising; but these will fade eventually in a matter of days.
You may see the results of your Botox injections in a matter of days and it may continue for a few weeks.
